Help us give hope to thousands who otherwise could not dare to hope

The SHARE Community Appeal supports some of the most disadvantaged and vulnerable people in our communities by giving grants to UnitingCare agencies and other community service groups providing child and family support, youth and disability services, alcohol and drug rehabilitation, supported accommodation projects, aged care services and emergency relief.

The needs in our communities have never been greater with 2.2 million Australians living in poverty. Poverty in Australia is the inability to have access to the essentials of life. It's about not having enough money to eat decent meals. It means standing in supermarket queues, quietly praying that you've added up your handful of items correctly. If you haven't, you'll face the embarrassment of having to put something back. Poverty is about always saying "no" to school camps and excursions. It means having your name on an endless government list for somewhere safe to live.

SHARE funding is vital to the future of a whole range of programs assisting people in desperate need and you can support them by fundraising online. You can create your own fundraising page for free, securely collect donations from your family, friends and colleagues and send group emails to keep your supporters up to date
